I've had a TT - 5000 and I must say that it is not very stable when it comes to speed. This turntable is not even a original Tandberg product made in Norway. I think it is a micro seiki made in Japan. In my opinion this turntable is overrated just because it is labelled Tandberg. Some other turntables from same era (the seventies) is Dual 1219, Lenco L75, Thorens TD-160. All of them sounds better than TT-5000. But of course, it is your choice what to by 🙂
